Intervention Services
Jeff and Debra Jay have built a team of addiction therapists to provide intervention services for a wide range of disorders. Our interventionist team has extensive experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Our intervention services include the following:
- • Detailed discussion and assessment with family members, friends and associates (the intervention team)
- • Choosing a treatment center
- • Seven point process for writing intervention letters
- • Instruction in composing possible bottom line consequences
- • Planning for objections to treatment
- • Rehearsal of the intervention team
- • Coordination with treatment provider
- • Matching options to family finances
- • Making travel arrangements
- • Facilitating the intervention
- • Escorting the patient to treatment
We continue to work with you while the patient is in treatment and on what you can do if the your loved one is having difficulties, including the development of a Relapse Plan.
We also offer initial consultations to families who aren't sure if intervention is right for them. Just give us a call or email us with your questions. We will help you determine what your specific situation requires -intervention or another option- and then help you formulate a plan of action. Consultations can take place either in person or by conference call and can include multiple family members, friends and colleagues.
We also offer recovery mentoring ongoing case management services to oversee the quality and continuity of care over multiple treatment providers and into recovery. These additional services are provided above and beyond our intervention service.
